I feel that there is a misnomer in this statement. Is it straight acting or butch acting or for that matter is it acting at all. I live my life very much as a man, butch or straight doesn't figure into the plan. I'm not acting like either, because it's my choice of life so, how can it be acting. Others I have met must place a facade up in order to live in the closet those I under stand. but those who are out, and are butch are they acting straight. Society must never dictate our movements nor terminology. We must show out pride by not acting like anything but by being who we are....

`I have to agree with Fatuglyguy (terrible name to give yourself).This question feels a bit presumptuous to me. To say that a homosexual or bisexual person is 'acting' because they identify with a more "masculine" or more "feminine" self-concept is a case of shallow reasoning. All people are mulitfaceted and subject to change. Some days I feel my masculine energy and some days my feminine and some days I feel both. I feel like we were giving this versatility for a purpose and because of that I choose to just BE. I am an actor and I can throw up a facade in a heartbeat. But there is nothing more peaceful than the inner harmony of simple being.
