Posted: Post subject: 2012 - 14 Countries where Gay Marriage is Legal |
|
|
The first Country to legalize same-sex marriage was The Netherlands in 2001. Since then, the number of Countries recognizing Same-sex marriage has grown to 14, with a large number of other Countries poised to approve it shortly. Soon, any Country that does not recognize Same-sex marriage as a FUNDAMENTAL right of it's citizens will be perceived as backwards and bigoted. (Imagine if a Country still outlawed Interracial marriage in this day and age.)
