My name is Tyler, I'm 24, and I am looking for someone to get to know casually. I am a reasonably down-to-earth and unpretentious guy, and I'm hoping to find someone equally lacking in hubris or vanities. I'm also not super keen on materialism or aspirational consumerism. I enjoy listening to pop records, riding bicycles, and spending my personal time reading about other cultures (my favorites being South Korea and Scandinavia). I enjoy doing volunteer work with children sometimes, traveling to new and interesting places, and during the warm months I spend a lot of my time at the beach. I'm also something of a geek, and like watching Doctor Who and Japanese and Korean science-fiction and horror films.

As far as potential mates go, I'm simply looking for someone who is relaxed and easy-going, and lacks any superfluous baggage. I am open-minded and non-religious with politics which are firmly liberal/progressive, and although I'm open to other points of view I'd rather date someone who shares the same beliefs, or at least complimentary ones that fall within the same sphere. I don't have a preference in terms of country of origin or ethnicity, and would prefer that anyone who does have those sorts of preferences not contact me. I'd just like to meet a modern man who enjoys hanging out, spending time outdoors, and doing casual things.
