Yes I am looking for a friend first. I beleive that all good things begin with a friendship.

I am driven and know what I want. I live my life by given it my all and then some. If someone else will get something from my efforts then that is also icing on the cake. I love seeing the joy that a thoughtful act can bring to others. I want someone who also shares the philosophy of helping others.

I have enjoyed living in Michigan growing up there and since have lived in California and Oregon before moving here to Florida. I am a bit old fashioned when it comes to dating in that I truly do think that you have to be friends before lovers. I also think that you should want monogamy. I have been in two long term relationships both over 7 years and am looking for someone that I can spend my life with. I also would like to meet someone that likes children as I am hoping to have a child within the next year or two and having a partner to share that with me would be wonderful.
