I'm usually super extroverted: outgoing, social, comfortable dealing with other people. Sometimes though I need to step away from everything and spend some time working on myself. After an extremely long cycle of being at the center of the crowd I pulled back a bit and spent some me time. I got my career in order, firmed up some of the long term friendships that mean the world to me, made some decisions about the way I spend my time and did some personal work, like losing a lot of weight, and quitting smoking after 26 years. It's time to start expanding again, and since I feel I'm better off than I've ever been, it should be interesting to see what adventures I can get into!Things to know about me: I work in publishing and I love it, though it's a demanding field and I tend to work spend a lot of time on the job. I was an industrial DJ for 8 years, and while I've retired I still love the music. My friends are my life, my dog is my heart and soul and my cat is the bane of my existence...but I love her anyways. The people who truly love me are the ones that understand I am sarcastic, quick-tongued and often more abrasive than I intend to be. They understand this because they're seen me at their side every single time the chips are down, and they've been there with me when the good times flow freely. To anyone patient enough to see past my flaws, the strengths that I offer are a lifetime investment that dwarfs the initial cost.
