Seeking Friendship/Companionship I ma visiting in Everett/Seattle. WA area from Tucson through October with possibility of relocation at some point. My needs here, and in Tucson, are really for a mature gay male friendship/companionship relationship - someone to do activities with such as movies, travel and area trips, short hikes, museums, theater, dinners, laughter, and comradry. I am considered a nice person, seeking spiritual centeredness,peace and serenity amidst the madness.
My health is good and I do have some back issues for which I am faithful in yoga/PT/stretch exercises and aqua aerobics 4x week to act proactively with regard to my back issues. And I'm trying to learn to eat healthier.
I was a community college teacher for 25 years and loved my job in New England where I was born and raised. Retired at age 58 to Tucson and love it there except for the summers. I come from an Italian, poor background I love to cook) and education allowed me to be able to lift myself into a different world.
I live comfortable but frugally, enjoy friends very much and have had 3 serious love relationships.
Today my needs are for friendship/companionship of an honest. sincere, trusting, and open nature. I am NOT interested in S-- as a part of that at the moment. Probably what I seek more than anything else is emotional intimacy and less feeling so alone all the time.
What else can I say - I'm fairly (?) liberal in my views, nonpredudicial, an avid reader, and seek to be Living Life and not just surviving or existing. I try to be gratefully humble for all the bounties, blessings, gifts and joys that are a part of my life and have spent time making peace with a very dyfunctional childhood. Love kids and they usually like me.
