Proud of my courage With courage comes sacrifice... and I have made my fair share along the way. I had not planned to come out to my family as either transgendered or one that identified as a gay male but it happened. the result was that my family disowned me entirely. My friends all know and support me 100% and they are the only family I know now. I love who I am and am proud to have not sacrificed identity for the sake of the needs of others who never cared about my emotional well being.
