I've just completed my undergraduate degree in french literature and social and philosophical thought at the University of Alberta. While my studies were considered by 99.9 percent of the population to be completely useless and fatally boring - and they are right to feel that way - I feel very lucky to have studied what has become one of the central passions of my life.
I plan to attend law school, but I'm taking a little time to catch my breath before flinging myself headlong into another pile of expensive textbooks.
My great pursuit is travel. I find myself happiest when I'm lost in a place I've never been before.
My other interests include:
- Cuddling: I am super affectionate and love to be close to people I care about.
- music: I'm very eclectic, and enjoy anything that lets me escape a little into myself. I have recently started learning the guitar, and have found that making your own music is one of the most rewarding things you can do with your time.
- art:my favourite gallery is the Musée D'Orsay in Paris, even though the last time I visited I had some kind of horrible fever.
- performing arts: I love opera, theatre and dance, and storytelling.
- movies: Shawshank redemption is my all time favourite, but I am no stranger to cult classics and zombie flicks. George A. Romero is a great hero of mine. I love Avatar, so I suppose special effects aren't lost on me either

- physical activity: I counter the stress of university by working out every day. In the summers I run, longboard, hike and mountain climb, and in the winter I snowshoe, snowboard, and run indoors. I feel dirty when I stay home all day.
-coffee: It is life. Tea is an acceptable subsitute providing it isn't earl grey.
I don't mind if you have interests I haven't listed here; I love to explore and learn about new things.
