Regular guy looking to meet someone special I'm fairly new to the online dating scene so I'm not exactly sure what all to say. I'm a pretty laid back regular type of guy. I am a Product Manager for a medical software company; but don't be fooled, I'm not a complete geek. I absolutely love my career, but a work/life balance is very important to me. I like to laugh and enjoy life. I've been in TX for 4 years now, but still feel like I'm getting to know the area.

I'm not sure I believe in a "perfect" match (yet). However, my ideal match would be someone that is financially stable and has career goals. I prefer someone that is comfortable with their gay side, but is not overly flamboyant. My ideal match should also be pretty down to earth and not pretentious or judgmental. I have what I think is a pretty good sense of humor and enjoy someone that has the same.

I'm not sure the typical dinner date appeals to me for a first date. Something about it seems a little too formal. My ideal first date would be something casual and fun. I really like the part of getting to know someone and am very interested in decent conversation. The loud club scene is definitely not my preference since I'd prefer to hear what you have to say rather than shouting over the music. I am originally from the South, so having a drink or two is not out of the question and can sometimes ease the tension of meeting someone new. haha
