I love art and architecture, new and old. It makes my soul dance to see old houses being restored. I will someday live in a Victorian with 12 foot ceilings. This I know.

I live my life surrounded by old books, antique furniture, silver and crystal. I love plants, cats and dogs and manage to get all three to live in harmony.

I love lunch and cocktails with friends. A good conversation is worth more than anything.

I love old movies, jazz and classical music. I like low lights and quiet times. I love to hear the clocks ticking in my house.

If only I could garden as well as I decorate. Sigh.

I don't like smoke, loud children or turnips.

I prefer faded genuine luxury to tawdry imitation.

I was raised by a Southern lady to be a Southern gentleman. You will always find good coffee, sweet tea and fresh banana nut bread in my kitchen. Please be kind enough to bring good conversation and wipe your feet on the way in.
